Arrival in Costa Rica. We’ll pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel.

PFF! Pupila Fifteen Fiesta
The conference will begin at 10:00 am. If you want to enjoy the whole thing, let us know and we’ll arrange your transport from the hotel, or you can even get there yourself (it’s just a few blocks away). The first three talks are in Spanish, then the rest of the day is in English.

12:30 pm
It’s lunch time. We’re in a part of the city that’s surrounded by tons of restaurants. Feel free to look around in case there’s something specific you’d like to eat, or we’ll try to walk somewhere as a group. Now, your talk is after lunch, at 3:00pm, so we’ll very likely try your presentation and do a little rehearsal before heading out to lunch.

5:00 pm
We plan to finish all talks by 5:00 pm, and from here the idea is to walk to Otro Bar (second floor of La Buenos Aires Cantina) to get some drinks before dinner.

8:00 pm
Group dinner at Amana. If we’re all together, we’ll walk there together, if you’re at the hotel, we can pick you up or you can Uber there. You let us know.

Morning
We plan to have a beautiful fun day at the Poas Volcano. Then we’ll go to get some traditional Costa Rican food, before heading back to the hotel to rest a little before our Quinceañera Party, which will happen at the hotel.

7:00 pm
Quinceañera Party! You don’t really have to be punctual. The party will take place in the hotel, on the 17th Floor. We plan to finish the party by midnight, but whenever you feel like sleeping, simply head back to your room 😴

9:30 am
Early departure towards the Caribbean. It’s a 4-hour drive, so the earlier we go, the better! So get a good early breakfast, and check-out. We’ll all leave together.

10:00 am
Return to San Jose.

Upon arrival, this is when most of us say “Good bye” to each other. You’re free to enjoy the city the rest of the day, but remember to be on time for the airport. It’s a Tuesday, so traffic is not our friend.
