Thank you for being part of the first edition of the Costa Rica Design Week. Here’s a brief agenda of your stay in the country and a few notes and tips for you to make the best out of your stay.

8:00 am
Arrival in Costa Rica. We’ll pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. We got you an early check-in so you can get some morning rest.12:45 pm
Lunch at Kololo Ramen. We’ll drive from the hotel at 12:00 pm sharp.Free afternoon

Let’s meet at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design. We’ll be exhibiting the selected and winning work you, and the other jury members, judged a few days ago. It’s just a couple blocks from the hotel, but if you’re visiting around, you can always get there yourself.8:00 pm
Group dinner at Doma. We’ll be leaving from the Museum, but let us know if you’ll be at the hotel and we’ll pick you up, or if you’re close by, you can always get there yourself. -
Free morning

12:45 pm
We’ll be having a group lunch at the amazing café Cumpanis. We can pick you up from the hotel at 12:15 pm, but if you’re visiting around, you can always get there yourself.Free afternoon

We’ll be having a group dinner at Cothnejo Fishy. We can pick you up from the hotel at 7:15 pm, or you can get there yourself. -
Morning
We’ll begin our Conference Day at 10:00 am, if you want to enjoy the whole thing, let us know and we’ll arrange your transport from the hotel, or you can even walk there (a few blocks away).
Afternoon
Please get to the venue by 12:30 pm the latest. Your talk is at 2:45 pm, but we want to make sure we try your presentation, and sound by the lunch break.7:30 pm
We’ll be having a group dinner at Sikwa (amazing place). We’ll be leaving from the hotel at 7:00 pm, or if you’re enjoying the city or events, you can always get there yourself. (It’s right next to Cumpanis) -
8:00 am
Early departure towards the Caribbean. It’s a 4-hour drive, so the earlier we go, the better! -
8:00 am
Return to San Jose, and pretty much straight to the airport. It’s a week-day and the highway is busy so we’ll be leaving early even though you have to be at the airport by 2:30 pm… just in case.
